Set within the forests of Hakone, the Pola Museum of Art is a glass-and-steel structure designed to blend into the natural surroundings. It houses one of Japan's finest collections of Western Impressionist art, with works by Monet, Renoir, Cezanne, and Picasso, alongside a notable collection of Japanese painting and Art Nouveau glassware. The Forest Promenade offers a peaceful nature walk connecting art with the environment.
