teamLab Borderless at Azabudai Hills, Tokyo
Borderless is an indoor museum where artworks move between spaces and visitors explore without a fixed route. For access and booking links, use our teamLab Borderless Tokyo tickets & hours page. Book the Azabudai Hills venue, rather than relying on information about the former Odaiba location.
Check the official calendar for the price, opening hours, last admission, and closure dates attached to your visit. Allow time to explore instead of scheduling another reservation immediately afterward.
teamLab Planets in Toyosu, Tokyo
Planets combines water-based works with interactive areas added in January 2025, including Athletics Forest, Catching and Collecting Extinct Forest, and Future Park. See the Tokyo tourism overview for the expansion.
The official ticket site listed adult admission from ¥4,000 when checked; the amount depends on your selected date and ticket. Water areas require suitable clothing, and some works have separate participation conditions. Read current notices before booking, as individual works can close for maintenance.
Wheelchair users can visit. The official accessibility FAQ explains artwork restrictions, tire covers, and transfer to a dedicated wheelchair for water areas. Visitors viewing the specified water artworks in a dedicated wheelchair must come with a companion; staff cannot provide wheelchair-pushing assistance. Contact the venue about your own requirements before purchasing tickets.
teamLab Biovortex Kyoto
Kyoto has a permanent teamLab museum: teamLab Biovortex Kyoto, at 21-5 Higashikujo Higashi-Iwamotocho, Minami-ku, Kyoto. This is a separate destination from past seasonal temple or shrine exhibitions. Use the official Kyoto page for the entrance, available dates, and ticket conditions.
teamLab Forest Fukuoka
Forest is on floor 5 of BOSS E・ZO FUKUOKA, at 2-2-6 Jigyohama, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka. It is not at Canal City Hakata. The official Fukuoka tourism listing identifies two areas: Catching and Collecting Forest and Athletics Forest. Check the venue’s ticket and activity information before making your travel plans.
teamLab Botanical Garden Osaka
This is an outdoor nighttime experience at Nagai Botanical Garden. Choose it when a night garden visit fits your itinerary, and check the official opening calendar and weather notices. Outdoor conditions differ from the indoor venues in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Fukuoka.
Before You Book
- Match the ticket to the venue and date. Borderless and Planets are separate museums in different parts of Tokyo.
- Check participation conditions. Water, uneven surfaces, darkness, and physically active works have different requirements; use each venue’s accessibility guidance.
- Leave travel time. Check the route between the actual entrances, including walking and station transfers.
- Check photography rules. Restrictions on flash, tripods, and selfie sticks vary by venue and artwork. Keep entrances and routes clear while taking photos.
