Art festival at the tip of the Noto Peninsula celebrating the region's culture, nature, and crafts.
The Oku-Noto Triennale takes place in Suzu, at the tip of the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture, bringing contemporary art to one of Japan's most remote and rugged coastal landscapes. The festival uses abandoned houses, fishing ports, salt farms, and forest clearings as exhibition sites, creating powerful encounters between international contemporary art and the ancient culture of the Noto coastline.
