Designed by Tadao Ando, Benesse House Museum on Naoshima island is a unique fusion of museum and hotel where guests sleep surrounded by contemporary art. The building is built into a hillside overlooking the Seto Inland Sea, integrating indoor galleries with outdoor sculptural works. It features permanent installations by artists including Bruce Nauman, Hiroshi Sugimoto, and Yanagi Yukinori.
